Actually winter is an ideal time to paint your home’s interior. In envisioning interior painting, many people imagine the sense of a poorly ventilated paint odor and the need to open all windows within the home. However, with the emergence of “Low” and “No VOC” paints, much of the obnoxious odor can now be limited.
Paint tends to dry more quickly with the windows closed and the home’s heat on with proper circulation. In warmer months paint can take time to dry because of high humidity. Since winter tends to bring much dryer home environments, it actually helps the paint drying process. Painting your home’s interior, then, can easily be accomplished in the winter time.
